So...i received a call this morning from a guy from BAT S'pore... They regret to inform me that I did not do well enough at the group dynamics assessment in Sydney to go through... The feedback given was... 1. They understand that I may not have performed well or to my best potential due to jet-lag or time difference or not enough rest and so on... 2. I did not seem confident during group discussions... 3. I need to speak up during group discussions... 4. I performed well for the individual presentation, fact finding and research planning... 5. And it was the faults during the group discussions which caused me alot of bad points... And thus, yah, I cldn't make it to the next round or get the job...that's all the feedback I can remember actually...'cos i was still sleeping when the guy called me...haha... Anyway, in my previous posting about this BAT job thingy, I've already mentioned I applied for fun (didn't know I could get so far actually, haha!) and I really didn't talk much during the group discussions 'cos its just not my way of doing things in a meeting, haha, I prefer to listen more and then talk instead of just blabbering and yakking away with nonsense ideas, but oh well, guess they wanted people who can talk alot or contribute more in a group, and maybe I'm not that good a team player, haha... Oh well, at least it was a nice experience and I'm thankful for the chance that I've been given, lesson learnt and experienced gained, so next time I know I should speak up more when I go for such assessments and also I know that my individual skills are there already, just need to improve on being more of a team player, haha... Ok, time to move on...gotta finish up assignments and then exams are up next~!~!~! Go ah go ah go ah...hahaha~!~!~! Adios and take care pplz... |
